danny Green V markus Beyer "a body of evidence"

Through the years, if there was ever a boxer who i wanted to win a world title , it was Danny Green, but in Germany, W.B.C. Super middleweight champion, Markus Beyer used all his ring experience and out boxed Green by using smart counter punching tactics and also targeting " The Green Machines" body, with sickening accuracy.

From the opening bell, it was obvious that Beyer and his team had studied the tapes from Greens previous fights and noticed a chink in the aussies armour, and in doing so, they decided to go for Greens mid section, everytime he threw one of his looping wide left and right hooks. Tonight, the stocky German was like a surgeon, ripping through flesh whilst carrying out an autopsy.

The first round was a surprizingly slow round and both boxers treated it as a kind of "feeling out" round and i scored it an even round. Round two was more of the same, but the difference was Beyer landing the more accurate punches. Beyers round. Round three saw Beyer throw a powerful left hand to Greens body that almost decked the tough aussie, but Green winced in pain , and dropped his hand slightly and carried on, and actually came back well in the last 20 seconds of the round. Beyer round.

Round four was Greens best round so far in the fight and he pressed Beyer backwards and stepped up the workrate to land some solid shots. Greens round. Round five, Beyer came out and dominated the round using his superb footwork, and body movement that left Green nothing to hit. Beyer's confidence was growing with every punch missed by Green and the German started sticking out the southpaw jab and followed up with some big left hook power shots of his own to win the round .

Round six saw Green steam out of the corner and unleash his wide ferocious hooks to Beyers head, pinning him back on the ropes and coming under with big uppercuts that sent Beyers head back and Green won the round well. Round seven , Beyer came back and caught Green again while throwing a hook, and hurt him with a precise, ripping, punch to his exposed body and then he slipped away to his right and moved out of range into his southpaw stance to win the round easy.

Round eight Beyer continued to counterpunch Green and seemed to have a grip on the fight. Green needed a knocKOut to win. Round nine , Green started the round well, chasing Beyer around with bad intentions, but Beyer used his footwork again and slipped out of Greens range , countering all the while. Beyers round. Round ten was more of the same and Beyers confidence was at an all time high , and even while taking some hard punches from Green , his eyes never left Greens for a second.

Round eleven saw Green doubling up on his jab for the first time in the fight, and it was paying dividends as it was creating openings for the big right hand. Greens round. Round twelve. No doubt about it Green knew he needed the KO to take the title and after a good rev up from fenech , Green flew out of the corner for the last time , throwing everything at the experienced 3 time world champion, and a left right, sent the German backwards and into the ropes. Beyer was down. After rising and taking the standing eight count, he looked over at his corner and used all his ring years to help him hold on, until his head cleared and by this time Green had used up what he had left in his tank. he had nothing left. Beyer was ragged but he held on until the end of the round . Greens round.

When the final bell rang, there was no question who had won the fight, and no one could have doubted that the German Markus Beyer fought better tonight and his team learned from the last fight, and they dissected danny Greens every movement to show the boxing world "a body of evidence"
