NOTE Where a Champion has been ordered to defend he must do
so against one of the named contenders in his division. Should he wish
to defend against any opponent not listed, application should be made
by the Champion or his Manager to the Honorary Secretary and, if approved,
the winner will take over the obligations of the present Champion to
defend against a named contender by the time indicated. |

When a Commonwealth Champion wins a World Championship, whether or not recognised by the Council or by any individual member of the Council, he shall automatically relinquish the Commonwealth Championship. 2. In view of varying medical standards and requirements for boxers throughout the Commonwealth, Promoters are urged to ensure that boxers from abroad competing for Commonwealth Titles are capable of meeting the standards of the hot governing authorities. 3. The eligibility of Zimbabwe rated boxers is subject to confirmation
from the Commonwealth Secretariat of status as a Commonwealth member
of the State of Zimbabwe. |
